At Vintage Senior Living, we never lose sight of the fact that, in addition to being a very important individual, each of our residents also has a family, a history, a lifetime of shared experiences that are an indispensable part of who they are. So we welcome and encourage family members to share in the many aspects of the community's life.

In addition to promoting frequent family visits, activities and shared meals, we may also sponsor events like candlelight family dinners, luaus, happy hours and holiday get-togethers, including entertainment.

We try to plan regular programs featuring doctors or other speakers on topics of importance and interest to both families and their loved ones: Medicare counseling, pain management, hospice care, estate planning, exercise and mobility, home health options, Veterans Affairs, just to cite a few possible examples.

The decision to live apart from one's family is a difficult one to make. Moving to a Vintage Senior Living community is the next best thing to bringing the family along.

Respite / Short Term Stays

We provide a comfortable environment where one can rest and take a break from household chores.

If you are wondering whether moving to a senior community is the right choice for you - or if you have recently been discharged from a hospital but are not quite ready to take on the challenges of shopping, cooking, laundry and other household tasks - then our respite program is a good place to begin.

We offer short-term stays and a fully furnished apartment for your convenience. Take a rest and experience leaving the household chores to us, while spending your free time enjoying musical performances, guest lectures and lunch outings.

Hospice

Vintage Senior Living works with preferred providers who have agreed to abide by established best practices. Hospice providers, in conjunction with our staff, tailor a resident and family-centered hospice care program. Together, we make it possible for our residents with end-of-life needs to receive high quality, hospice care while remaining at Vintage Senior Living. Hospice is an integral part of our commitment to aging in place.

Vintage Senior Living embraces the hospice philosophy of ensuring the right to dignity and comfort during the final phase of our residents' lives. We provide care management combined with emotional support. Our staff makes it a priority to be responsive to families' needs and residents' wishes.
